 In the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games Gianmarco Tamberi and Mutaz Essa Barshim competed in the high jump. Gianmarco Tamberi competed for Italy and Mutaz Essa Barshim competed for Qatar. 

Both men scored the same score. They were equally high scores. This continued until the poles were 2.37m high. Neither man could clear 2.39m.    

After both men failed their three attempts the ref asked both men if they wanted to have a jump off. But Mutaz Essa Barshim asked if they both could have gold and the ref said yes.

On Friday the 25 of June there was a magic show here at Point England School. The magician talked about healthy eating and why we as young people need to eat vegetables and how we need to eat better food. If we change our food and eat more healthy we can stop some food poisoning, we won’t get diabetes. If we eat more cleanly we will be more active and have more energy and easier to get up and out of bed in the mornings. The magic show was a great message to all young kids and adults that attended.

 on Friday i saw my class snorkelling in the pool the instructor told them to put to the flippers on but do not walk with them once. they go into the water they did some laps back and forth in the pool. hen they're blowed out the water from the snorkel and got change into the school uniform.

Immersion Assembly

 On Monday the entire school went to the Immersion Assembly in our school Hall.  Each team had an item which represented what they would be doing for this term. 

Team 1 showed an amazing video about where the sun goes at night time. 

Team 2 performed on stage about the same thing as team 1. 

Team 3 did a performance on stage about the myth Rona and the Moon. 

Team 4 Guardians of the Galaxy Point England style, and 

Team 5 talked about the main planets in our solar system. 

The Senior Management team also performed on stage about the different kinds of equipment and things you can use to find your way around the world. Mr Jacobson showed us the six-tin, Mrs Nua tried to use a Map and Mr Sommerville showed us some cool things using a GPS.

When we got into the pool I saw a diving board i asked my mum if I could go on the diving board and she said yes. When I got to the top of the diving board I slept a slap on the water.  After the swim I went and had fish and chips for lunch. After lunch I went back on the diving board And when I got to the top I did not slept . and I jumped into the water.after the pools me and my family went home the next day. we went back to the pool because
